Full description

Depart from the railway station on Piazzale Roma and journey to Murano, famous for its glass-blowing industry. Dating back to the Middle Ages, the still-thriving tradition has been passed down over generations and each glass blower has developed their own personal style. Watch a glass-blowing demonstration and learn to recognize the difference between the various artisans and brands during your stay on the island. Then, continue to the island of Burano, known for its crochet work and brightly colored houses. Get picture-perfect views of the landmarks of Burano, such as the leaning bell tower and the main square of Piazza Baldassarre Galuppi, named after a major 18th-century Venetian composer. Look in some of the lace shops during your visit to the island. Then, conclude your travels on Piazza San Marco and see sights such as the Doge's Palace and Campanile as you stroll around the famous colonnades.

Excellent for a brief visit to two of the most famous islands in Venice to see glass blowing and lace making. Only a full hour on each island but enough to get an idea and look around if you have limited time. Very interesting and informative guide especially during the boat trip.

A little confusion to get on board but otherwise everything is fine. It is certainly an excellent solution for those who want to visit Venice and its islands in one day. Tour done with two half-sized dogs who entered everywhere without problems. The guide Giorgia good and pleasant. Advise. All well prepared for dogs even in visits.

We enjoyed the visit. We did not understand the explanations of the guide in the boat because of the noise of the engines. The visit to Murano is limited to the glass factory… too short, we would have liked to have had time to visit… Burano is magnificent. Again, if you want to eat there because you get there around 12:30 it's a bit short, if you go around it's ok. The advantage is that you just have to follow and you don't bother to pay attention to the schedules. The guide, in the process of learning French, is very cute and is already doing well.
