The Doge's palace is amazing! However, Skip-the -Line Entry ticket was not what I expected. I've had to leave to go back across the Piazza to find the kiosk, where I retreaved the ticket and the small guide book, which wasn't an exclusive guide book for the Doge's Palace, but a tiny guide book on Venice! Also, The price was much higher if you just queued to buy your ticket straight from the ticket office. Disappointed.
I cannot recommend this highly enough. We did the dinner and concert. The restaurant didn’t seem to realize that the concert starts earlier in the winter and we were tight time wise, but the food was delicious. And hands down, this was an amazing concert. The setting was great. And the artists were wonderful. It was so enthralling to see their talent and energy as they performed each peace.
My experience was most good. I had difficultly locating the local partners to collect the tickets. I ended up been sent to 3 addresses with me bn able to pick up the tickets at the 3rd address. But overall my experience was good. I was able to skip the line at the dodge palace. I look forward to exploring venice more over the next 6 months
We really enjoyed the concert evening. But you shouldn't go to the concert with small children. Behind our row sat a family with a schoolchild who was talking the whole time until the break.
Really enjoyed this. Learnt a lot about Casanova and many enjoyable historical tales. Good fun, piano player excellent and some lovely Italian speciality sweet treats as a bonus.
