Full description
The vineyards of the Prosecco region, just an hour’s drive from Venice, spread out in front of you as you travel along country roads. On this full-day tour, the first winery you’ll visit is a family business, located near Conegliano. Tour the cellars, and see the wine press and fermentation room before enjoy a number of glasses of Prosecco. Later in the morning, stop at a waterfall beside an old mill in Refrontolo. As you continue your drive, enjoy the beauty of the hills covered in Prosecco grapes. There will be a number of stops before lunch so you can get out and take a walk through the vineyards. Lunch will be at a traditional trattoria, overlooking vineyards, where you’ll have a choice of dishes from the Veneto region. Not far from the town of Valdobbiadene you’ll stop to visit the second winery of the tour, where an expert will explain the steps of the wine-making process, from picking the grapes to bottling. Enjoy hearing how this popular sparkling white wine is actually made.

We had been let down by another site who cancelled due to the Tour of Italy bike race. I wasn't expecting to be able to book another but luckily we were and it was a fantastic day trip. Miriam went above and beyond, finding a route to avoid the road closures. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and a great tour guide. We visited 2 vineyards and sampled many wines. There were only four of us on the tour which was great too. We had a lovely lunch at a restaurant Miriam found, again not easy because many were closed. It was a fab full day's trip.

Wow, what a trip! This tour was such a beautiful, scenic trip to the Prosecco region. We drove along the beautiful “Prosecco road” with stunning views of vineyards & the Dolomite mountains the entire way to the two vineyards we toured. The vineyard tours & tasting were outstanding & matched only by our guide Miriam. Her knowledge of the wines & the region were incredible, her English fantastic. I highly recommend this tour for a fun, informative day of tasting & sight seeing!

Fabulous

We had an amazing day, Luca was very knowledgable about the region and took us to some great wineries for tasting. We also visited a unique self service Osteria and a very pretty water mill. The first winery Gregoletto was a small family run business, the second Bortolomiol a much larger one but both had very friendly guides and fabulous Prosecco’s, that we’re served with nibbles such as cheese and biscotti. Lunch was at a great restaurant on the hill, overlooking the beautiful vineyards. There was plenty of choice but we chose the beef which was cooked barbecue style and was very good. We were lucky enough to be the only couple that booked on the day we went so it felt like a private, very bespoke tour. The weather was not kind to us and it rained most of the day but we did not let this spoil it for us. The tastings were included, the other visits including lunch were extra but still an excellent value for money day especially compared to others that we had seen.
