Meeting up was a little chaotic as there were about 20-30 others that had booked this trip. BUT it was very organized after they got us all rounded up and we walked to the Gondola pier. The ride was short, as stated, and the traffic on the waterways with all the Gondolas going at the same time was pretty chaotic also. We did enjoy this booking, BUT having seen Venice now and knowing what I know I would probably find a less crowded area off the beaten path to do this. There are Gondola stands everywhere in Venice. Not sure I would want to start my trip on the Grand Canal if I had it to do over. All that being said, it was comparable to the pricing on other boats that I saw while we were there and the kids really enjoyed it. It is a must do if you’re in Venice and I’m glad we did.

This was the perfect addition to our Venice visit. We didn’t pick a gondolier who tells you about the sights or sings but it didn’t matter. Just being in the gondola on the canals was perfect!

Experience the romance of Venice aboard a traditional gondola for up to 6 people and enjoy a more intimate experience, exclusive to your group.

Depart from the Campo San Luca at a time to suit you. Gondola rides are available by day and at night, when you can marvel at the monuments illuminated after dark. Journey along the legendary Grand Canal to see some of the historic buildings from the water.

Venture down some of the smaller canals and get away from the tourist crowds. Pass the Gothic façades of palazzos at a gentle pace as your gondolier punts you through the historical center aboard the city's most traditional mode of transport. Glide back to the starting point for the end of your amazing gondola ride.

Our private gondola ride was perfection. Our guide left us alone to enjoy the scenery, which I personally enjoyed. Wonderful experience, I was impressed with how our guide maneuvered the gondola as well.
