Our tour guide Alex was very friendly, funny, and actually from the island of Burano! Burano is extremely colorful and a pleasure to explore for an hour or two. The glass blowing demonstration on Murano was very cool, and the opportunity to buy glass pieces straight from the factory's store was a great opportunity to load up on souvenirs & gifts.

One of the highlights of our trip to Venice! Gabriele was an excellent guide - providing great information about the lagoon and islands, as well as being easy to relate to. Spent our time in Murano watching a master glass-blower create two artworks and hearing all about glass-blowing in a factory. We had a chance to buy souvenirs. Our next stop was Burano. Our guide Gabriele made recommendations on where to get lace and Venezian cookies. So we visited those places. Then we just strolled around the streets of Burano to take photos of the beautiful colorful houses. We took a different route back to Venice and ended the tour with Prosecco. I highly recommend this excursion!

Perfect trip. Go in the morning. Our guide was terrific and gave a lot of info about Venice and the islands, not just Burano and Murano. We had ample time to venture out on our own in addition to walking around with the guide. Beautiful lace and a demonstration in glass making by experts. I highly recommend this tour! We closed out the ride with a glass of Prosecco and a toast to a great day.
