This tour was awesome! The meeting point is easy to find, the guide was punctual and very informative. (Can't remember her name, she was the lady that speaks 4 languages including Italian, French, and English.) I don't normally like guided tours, I prefer doing my own thing, but I wanted to do this, to have a basic understanding on Venice itself as well as on the Venetian culture. This was the perfect experience for me, especially since our group was very small (7 of us all together). You have the option NOT TO take the boat ride back as well - which exactly what my choice was, since my hotel was right by St. Mark's.
A great tour for those of you who want to get some interesting historical background about Venice while eating and drinking. What a great combination. We enjoyed it very much, our guide Alice was absolutely amazing, we could continue the entire day with her. She was fun, super knowledgeable and the places she took us to were delicious. Come hungry! The quantity of food was insane.
Burano is a must see, I would recommend this boat trip to anyone visiting Venice. The tour guide was lovely and knowledgable about everything and the free time to explore the islands was the perfect amount of time - didn’t feel rushed. Overall a great experience.
We had a great time enjoying an Aperitivo while listing to all the informative stories about the city and watching the sun set. We definitely will come back and recommend Alessandro to all our friends visiting Venice.
It was enjoyable. You get to learn a bit abt the history of mask making. The technique was fun. The instructor was kind and patient.
