I really enjoyed this, especially for the money! The normal gondola ride varies between €60-80 for the same amount of time! (Talk about daytime robbery, eh?!) I shared the ride with 2 couples and another solo person. It was a short +/- 10min walk -with a guide of course- from the meeting point to the gondoliers. We started off on the Grand Canal, then navigated into the smaller canals, and then back to the starting point. I loved how all gondoliers seem to know each other, regardless of their placement. Our guy was chatting to every single one who we passed. A whole different world. I really loved the vibe.

We enjoyed our gondola. we thought 30 minutes is too short but not really. It was a combination of small and larger canal that we we passed by, though gondolier doesnt sing, he entertained us with his quick dance and posing with us during some picture taking. We were 5 in the group so it seemed like a private gondola for us. Caution that if you are less than 5, it will be shared ride and you may not get the best seat

Tour is exactly what it says in the title. Shared Gondola ride with 6 people, so you could end up with anyone and sitting anywhere in the gondola. We enjoyed it but wouldnt do it again. It's worth the experience of ticking it off the bucket list and a lot cheaper than doing it there (€80 per person) but I wouldnt rush back to Venice to do it. Overall the tour did everything they said they would, took us there, got us on a gondola and helped us off so overall 4*.
