We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The guide was very clear, translated into 5 languages! It was all well timed and perfectly organised. The glass blowing demonstration was only 10 minutes but well worth it. He made it look so easy but it obviously takes years to master. We spent too much time in the shop looking at expensive glass, I would advise heading out to see a bit of the island after the demo. Burano island was so pretty, we really enjoyed the free time here to explore. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink and some shops selling beautiful lace pieces.
This was a great way to see the islands at our own pace. You don’t get much time on Murano after the glassblowing demonstration but that was really interesting in itself. The island is beautiful and quiet. Then we had over an hour to explore Burano which was great. Enough time for a quick bite to eat and walk around. Boat was big and clean. Guide was a little hard to understand at times because we were sitting outside.
