Clarity of guides descriptions,. Instructions where to meet did not note there are 2 troncetto stops on vapretto and we needed to get off at the second stop. Not good. And wondered why we did go higher up the mountain to get a better look at the geological formations. I was really looking forward to them. The trip was wonderful except for the exception. We could see cars much higher on the side of the mountain and suspect that’s where we would get a better view. I was disappointed with the omission.

The Dolomites are amazing! Unreal to see. The chairlift is incredible and so glad we did it but it was an extra cost on an already expensive tour. Cortina was average. Personal opinion. Most shops shut and only had 45 Mins there. Our guide sadly ruined this day. He made everyone anxious. He was always wanting to go 5mins before the agreed time. Always huffing and puffing. And his driving was borderline unsafe. Weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating, etc. I was glad to be out of the car and I’m surprised we didn’t have an accident in all honesty. Toilet stops were an inconvenience it seemed. And our tour finished early. As mentioned, Dolomites are stunning to see. Chairlift should be included in price. And More time at location would have been ideal. As it stands, This was a glorified expensive private transfer essentionally as a group of 4 guests. It felt rushed and a nuissance wanting to see what clearly is old news to the guide. Another guide may have been different story

This tour was the one of the best decisions my dad and I have made during our trip in Italy! Our tour guide Alfonso was wonderful, super friendly and informative. The trip itself was easy and definitely worth the money! In my opinion each stop had plenty of time to roam around, it would be great if there was more time bc the views never get boring but i think it was just enough ! The first stop was in a cute little town with some shops and we were given 45 minutes which is enough to roam into some stores and buy some souvenirs, the second one was the the lake where we had two hours which was more than plenty to get some food and walk around the lake and take pictures and walk into shops ! Alfonso was nice enough to stop a couple more times on the way back to venice to take a couple extra pictures! Highly recommend!!!
