Was small but packed with facts, diagrams, and interactive opportunities - brilliant for adults and children alike. We had a 2&3 year old with us, and we spent over an hour there in lovely air conditioning. Reasonably priced gift shop, for all books/ t-shirts etc, although the only thing I wanted to buy was the wooden Stomachion Puzzle, and it was €36.80 so I Amazoned it instead at half the price 😬

The museum is very small, but there is a lot of interesting material. The main floor had reproductions of the famous drawings we all know and love; but the best part was the first floor with actual wood reproductions of the machines, that you can actually touch and use. Very nice store at the end; with good selection of interesting material. The only downside was related to the lack of "audio guides" related to the material present, but the descriptive panels were clear and had a lot of languages available. Great experience for the whole family, but don't expect to walk around a lot.

Wonderful! This is a gem, showcasing Leonardo's life work in one place (obviously not the original artwork). If you want to see the scope of him as a painter, scientist, architect, military machine designer, inventor, ... this is the place. Our kids who weren't excited stayed for 2 hours and loved it. Super informative, interactive and enjoyable!
