We had the free tour with audioguide which was the option we preferred. Since we visited during the Carnival, these skip the line tickets were the best thing ever as there was quite a queue for the Basilica. Both places are wonderful and the audioguide was helpful for thr tour of the Basilica. Not as much for the Palazzo Ducale, but that is more to be enjoyed on your own, since there is a lot of art to admire. We also had included a visit to the Museo Correr which was a nice touch. Be aware that you will need the tickets printed and thus you will have to meet with the organisers. But they give us so many details that is very easy to meet with them. Also they've been very helpful and polite. I recommend this experience.
Guide was great but spoke quickly and softly sometimes. It was a lot of walking for our kids, but the adults really enjoyed it. Our guide gave us a great recommendation for lunch and was funny!
