The Palace was beautiful, some areas were very busy but others you could take your time walking through looking at the art. Descriptions of the rooms in English made it easier for us to enjoy the rooms. Very warm as expected due to it being a hot day but open windows are a nice breeze as you walk past. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a bit of history and art.

I visited the ducal palace with 2 6-year-old children; the visit was very much appreciated by the children. Equipped with audio guide (the fact that it is a mobile phone has thrilled the children .. easy to use .. you touch the image of the room and with play the audio starts .. it doesn't matter if the explanation is too difficult .. it's a way to keep them nice and busy) The prisoners clearly have been the most exciting thing for them.

Beautiful grand and impressive building, you do not expect this when you stand ervoir. Very well maintained, clear explanations in all areas. Despite the busy holiday period and row of people, it was not too busy and there was enough space to view everything properly. We were glad we had ordered the tickets in advance and were able to proceed straight away. As an extra, a beautiful overwhelming exhibition by Kiefer.
