Keep going until you arrive in Fusina, passing through the Moranzani Lock with rising of the water level. Stop at Malcontenta for the internal guided tour of Villa Foscari, La Malcontenta. Then continue on past villages and swing bridges. In the early afternoon, you will arrive in Oriago. Marvel at its impressive swimming pool, the grandiose stables, and the elegant eighteenth-century coffee house.

the organization is good, the guide too. In general, the trip is not bad. Cons - they spent too much time on the first 2 small villas and lunch, and on the huge Pisani Palace, where Napoleon, Mussolini, Hitler, etc., where the frescoes of Tintoretto were, left 40 minutes! We just ran across it. We didn't even go into the huge park. There was nothing to breathe in the locks on the upper deck due to the exhaust gases of our boat. The promised 50 villas along the coast are usually closed and dilapidated houses, not the palaces and castles we expected. So, in my opinion, this trip is not worth the whole day and this money. You can go if you are already tired of Venice and have nothing to do. And even that is unlikely

The guide was waiting near the entrance to where you embark the boat. I could easily have missed the trip as she was not easily identifiable and I was waiting right in front of the church. Everyone chose to sit upstairs as it was a lovely day. Be warned though, despite it being only mid April it was still very hot in the open. The locks were interesting to traverse. It would have been nice to know what was being offered in the restaurant recommended by the guide. I chose to eat lunch independently in a small restaurant on the opposite side of the river. There was plenty of time to take photos whilst the guide explained to the diverse group in their native tinge. At the last stop I left my bag on the bus. Unfortunately there was an accident and the bus was delayed by 50mins reaching us at our pick up point. The train back to Venice from Padova was cheap and easy.

Beautiful villas, crowded boat.

The cruise started out well. We left from Venice with the boat about 3/4ths full. After we stopped for lunch—which was very organized and very good(but not included)—they loaded several more people. We were not told this would happen. It now made the ride very noisy. We could not hear the tour guide as she talked about the things we were sailing past.
