Full description

Spend some time on the most famous Venetian islands, known throughout the world for their picturesque scenery, craft traditions, and unique history. See the glass factory of Murano, lace shop on Burano, as you visit 3 different islands.

Depart from near Saint Mark’s Square or Santa Lucia Train Station, and take an enjoyable trip across Saint Mark’s Basin. On the boat, a live guide will illustrate the history of the lagoon and the three islands you will visit.

Your first stop will be the island of Murano. Sometimes referred to as the “Island of the Glass,” you will visit one of its famous glass factories and see the glass being manufactured and blown. Afterward head to Torcello, the most ancient of the inhabited islands. Continue to Burano, admiring the natural environment and the minor islands spread all around you. Enjoy some free time in Burano, a typical fishing island with colorful contrasts and chocolate-box painted houses.

Look out, too, for much evidence of its renowned lace making and embroidery industry and try some of Burano’s notable homemade cakes. Please note that once on the ground, this is not a guided tour. The guide will escort you to the glass factory in Murano and the lace shop in Burano. Afterward, you will have time to explore each island on your own.

The onboard information was interesting and the tour guide was very impressive being able to switch between multiple languages throughout the whole tour. It was also very nice to have easy transport to the three islands because the lines to get on the water bus were quite long. Though the time on each island felt rushed, it definitely is just a glimpse of each.

This was a really good and inexpensive way of getting a glimpse of other Venetian islands. Transport was comfortable and the host was very informative. Very enjoyable and relaxing excursion. Burano island was my favourite island. I would have preferred a few minutes more there and a few minutes less in Torcello but overall is was an excellent trip and well worth taking. Highly recommended

Very nice tour if you have little time in Venice and want to see the three islands. First stop Murano, they take you to a glass factory to watch a demonstration. Time on the island of 50 minutes then we leave for torcello, on which we were not able to see much since the boat docks 10 minutes walk from the center and the time available is 40 minutes. BURANO is a gem, truly the prettiest of the 3 islands, a pity that the stop is only 45 minutes. In spite of everything, the tour met my expectations, very convenient if you don't have time to waste taking the vaporettos. The guide gave some very interesting information
