Full description

Spend some time on the most famous Venetian islands, known throughout the world for their picturesque scenery, craft traditions, and unique history. See the glass factory of Murano, lace shop on Burano, as you visit 3 different islands.

Depart from near Saint Mark’s Square or Santa Lucia Train Station, and take an enjoyable trip across Saint Mark’s Basin. On the boat, a live guide will illustrate the history of the lagoon and the three islands you will visit.

Your first stop will be the island of Murano, sometimes referred to as the “Island of the Glass.” Spend 30 minutes visiting one of its famous glass factories and see the glass being manufactured and blown.

Enjoy about 15 minutes of free time on Murano before heading to Torcello, the most ancient of the inhabited islands. Continue to Burano, admiring the natural environment and the minor islands spread all around you.

Enjoy some free time in Burano, a typical fishing island with colorful contrasts and chocolate-box painted houses. Look out, too, for much evidence of its renowned lace-making and embroidery industry, and try some of Burano’s notable homemade cakes.

Please note that once on the ground, this is not a guided tour. The guide will escort you to the glass factory in Murano and the lace shop in Burano. Afterward, you will have time to explore each island on your own.

Very clear instructions on the app on how to get to the meeting point. Once there many people from staff were helping on how to redeem vouchers for tickets. On the boat ride they explained how the tour works along interesting facts of the island in 3 different languages. U visit 3 island and have around 45 minutes on each to visit freely on your own. In Murano you have the option to visit a family owned glass factory and after the presentation it gives you time to visit the rest. Going back from the islands to Venice main island was around 55minutes on the boat. If u have limited time in Venice and want to see these islands and also have time to explore the main attractions in Venice I absolutely recommend this tour as it starts around 9:30am and ends at 2:30pm gave us time to eat, relax and keep exploring. 10/10

Good experience. The boat picks you up at the station and takes you back there. The island of Burano is magnificent, it is to be done if you go to Venice, and a guide completes the whole thing. She spoke French, Italian and English. I recommend more considering the price it's correct

Too little time on the islands. 45 mins on each is not enough, it ends up being 30, as you rush to get back to the boat(or risk being stranded). The glass blowing demonstration on Murano was sub-par. Have seen much better elsewhere. Didn’t have much time at all on Murano after that. Liked Torcello and Burano a lot! Worth a visit. But definitely with more time/flexibility.
