We had a singer and accordion player accompanying our gondola trip with other gondolas making a flotilla. The singing and playing was to a high standard and our gondolier joined in. There was also good natured banter amongst the group. Where else would you hear Elvis tunes on the Grand Canal? As it was me and my best friend we were not after romance and it was good for her 60th birthday present. A memory worth savouring.

I got lucky and got the musicians in my gondola. It was such a fun experience! Definitely recommend. Sadly the time went by so fast, but I really enjoyed this!
