A note of gratitude to the tour operator. In spite of leaving our Murano hotel 2 hrs early, we arrived at 6:30 pm due to getting lost! The group was just departing and we were told that we had missed our reservation. I asked the gentleman to please assist as we only had that evening to do the gondola ride! He said if we wait he would do all he can and 30 minutes later he got us on a gondola ride. We are VERY GRATEFUL for his assistance! We do not know his name but he made our day! Thank you!

We booked in a hurry and didn’t realize it was a shared ride… but we had an amazing time and the music was beautiful! I don’t think the couple in the gondola with us realized it was shared either though, and they definitely didn’t seem happy about it… maybe an extra, extra note in the description would be good? I digress, this was an amazing way to experience Venice and the musicians were extremely talented and skilled :)
