Start your day of sightseeing by meeting your tour guide and your driver at the pre-arranged meeting point. First, enjoy the luxury of skip-the-ticket-line access. Enter the Vatican and start your tour with a visit to the Vatican Museum, a true spectacle for everyone who visits.

Your tour itinerary through the museum is specialized to focus on the most important parts of the site. The museum is full of art masterpieces, created by Europe's most famous artists throughout the centuries. Your guide will explain every detail of this place. Next, visit the Sistine Chapel. Once inside, marvel at Michelangelo's masterpiece on the ceiling depicting the last judgment. Admire the religious site's other incredible frescoes by many Florentine Renaissance masters.

Finish your tour in St. Peter's Square, where your guide will provide all the necessary explanations before you visit St. Peter's Basilica on your own. Climb the Dome and visit the papal tombs. Admire the Pietà by Michelangelo and the St. Peter's Baldachin by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.

Very definitely recommended. Due to circumstances we started a little later. The lady who showed us around knew exactly what she was talking about and gave a good explanation about the history of the Vatican. The upholstery, statues, carpets, works of art, etc. are beautiful to look at. Normally I would just walk through the building myself and read just about every information board you can find. With a guide who tells everything, this is no longer necessary. Would definitely do this.

Very, very great tour! Christina from "Tours of Rome" was a stroke of luck! We booked the German-speaking tour in a small group. In any case, the price was worth it, even our children (11 and 15) were thrilled and, despite the great heat and full rooms, literally hung on Christina's every word. Clear recommendation!!!

This tour was fantastic!! My boyfriend and I learned so much from our tour guide. She was energetic, thorough with her knowledge, and incredibly kind and intelligent. We both learned so much in the 3 hours we spent with our tour guide & want to thank her for providing us a great and unforgettable experience. I feel if we never did this tour, we would not have the same experience. Definitely book! You will not regret it.
