Peek at the Cabinet of the Masks, or tour the Sala degli Animali to see a virtual menagerie of fantastic beasts, real and imagined. Walk the Upper Galleries, including the Gallery of Maps, to see how cartographers depicted the world through the ages.

You need to go to reception to exchange your voucher into tickets. Plan a little extra time to do that and go through security. Out of all the touristy things we did in Italy, this was definitely the most crowded. (If you are very concerned about Covid, this might not be the best place to visit…it will be hard to social distance as you walk to the different galleries, especially the Sistine Chapel.) I did appreciate all of the windows being propped open so there would be better air circulation. Overall, a great experience for our family.

This is a massive collection (one of the largest in the world) and includes the most famous chapel in the world. While there is always something so frustrating about seeing such significant Egyptian collections in London, New York, or Paris…particularly after having visited the Cairo Museum, it is nevertheless great that these treasures can be viewed by one and all. One should not map to the St. Peter's Square or even to "The Sistine Chapel" when visiting, but rather to the Vatican Museums (I Musei Vaticani) a good kilometer away from St. Peter's. I can't remember how clear this was on the voucher. The voucher you receive has to be exchanged, but that is once you have been admitted into the museum foyer. It can be exchanged at the ticket windows or via automated machines if you follow signs to continue entry into the museum. This could have been a little more clear, but we don't mind showing up early and asking questions.

Only thing deceiving is that you don't have Guide at all for this tour... it doesn't mention that you have to pay for the audio guide 8 Euro plus 1.5 Euro if you want the headset. This price is strictly for the entrance. Otherwise, it was still an excellent experience
