Full description

Take a stirring journey through art and religious history with skip-the-ticket-line entry to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Avoid the long ticket lines and then enjoy your visit at your own pace.  Wander through the Greek Cross Gallery to see elaborately-carved sarcophagi that might just contain the earthly remains of some of antiquity's famous kings and queens.

Peek at the Cabinet of the Masks, or tour the Sala degli Animali to see a virtual menagerie of fantastic beasts, real and imagined. Walk the Upper Galleries, including the Gallery of Maps, to see how cartographers depicted the world through the ages.

See masterpieces by Renaissance masters in the Raphael Rooms, and rest for a while in the Borgia Apartments. Then, it’s time to marvel at Michelangelo’s exquisite Sistine Chapel, the crown jewel of the Vatican, and perhaps even of all the world’s art treasures.

It was nice to skip the line but it was a little confusing. There wasn’t a get your guide sign like the said. We entered in with everyone else and went through security, once upstairs a worker looked at my voucher and pointed me to a ticket booth that printed you actual tickets. It was an easy process but unclear. The GYG app also says to bring a passport which was totally unnecessary as well as wearing a n95. That is no longer a thing there.

Getting the tickets was easy, downloaded the app and tickets were available on the app. At the entrance to the museum look for the Get Your Guide signs and enter there. It is that easy. Always a little skeptical about buying tickets online but this was the real deal and had no issues. They even have their own booth once you get past security for your audio devices. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience! Our cab driver dropped us at the wrong side so we were late for our bus tour. The Get Your Guide rep Ilaria was so incredibly helpful and did everything she could to get us on the next bus, even leaving her post to walk us to where we needed to be and alerted the driver. Get there early and allow at least 3 1/2 hours to see everything. The history, art, gardens and beauty are mind blowing. A must see in person when in Rome!
