Full description

Take a stirring journey through art and religious history with skip-the-ticket-line entry to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Avoid the long ticket lines and then enjoy your visit at your own pace.  Wander through the Greek Cross Gallery to see elaborately-carved sarcophagi that might just contain the earthly remains of some of antiquity's famous kings and queens.

Peek at the Cabinet of the Masks, or tour the Sala degli Animali to see a virtual menagerie of fantastic beasts, real and imagined. Walk the Upper Galleries, including the Gallery of Maps, to see how cartographers depicted the world through the ages.

See masterpieces by Renaissance masters in the Raphael Rooms, and rest for a while in the Borgia Apartments. Then, it’s time to marvel at Michelangelo’s exquisite Sistine Chapel, the crown jewel of the Vatican, and perhaps even of all the world’s art treasures.

Just to be aware, It is hot in August. No A/C in the Vatican museum and very crowded with people, except when you reach the Sistine Chapel, and it is still hot, and it is at least 1.5-2.5 hours through it. It is also hot waiting in line, even if you have a skip the line ticket. Also, it is chaotic near the lines to get in. There are people who will ask if you have tickets, they are just helping and you can ask them where you need to go. Don’t get in line too much before your ticket time, they will tell you to come back, and then you have to wait again.

Outstanding ticket opportunity to guarantee our entrance while in Rome. Skip the line was what we needed and having a specific time fit our schedule perfect. Better to start in morning as we did, but not having to be there before opening to get in smoothly. Voucher to get into museum and then exchange inside after security worked simply as well. One could see Get Your Guide is well respected with the Museum’s visitor flows. Thank you!
