We paid around £45 each for this tour which included Vatican skip the line tickets and entry into St Peter’s basilica after the tour finished without having to queue again. We got straight in no problem…probably worth the £45 each just for that. However, our guide Eugenio was fantastic! It was a long tour, lots to see but he was so passionate and knowledgeable it was always interesting and we learned a lot. This was my 2nd visit to the Vatican but first time with a guide and it really makes such a difference. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you can get Eugenio. Grazie mille!

a great tour with excellent and interesting information. our tour guide (who's name I've forgotten, it starts with M) was super lovely, helpful and friendly. we are so glad we booked a tour as it would have been very daunting trying to navigate tickets and queues on our own.

The actual tour was excellent. However, the directions to meet the tour guide took us to a street corner with no actual way to know if we had actually arrived at the right place. This was further confounded by the guide arriving late. Early on the morning of the tour I received a phone call that the time slot I booked was no longer available due to guide’s exposure to Covid. I was offered a later tour which did not suit my itinerary. I was then told that unfortunately there was nothing else that could be done. When I asked about a refund, I was told no refund could be issued. Only when I pushed back on this was I then told to just come ahead for the original tour time slot. To be honest this reeked of a scam. I’m grateful the tour ultimately worked out and was quite enjoyable.
