Your island adventure begins with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity visiting Pepeyo Cultural & Educational Village. This village experience begins with a bus trip from all hotels OR cruise ship port. A short drive 12km away from Port Vila Township lies this perfect setting nestled in the heart of the woods of Teouma. Visitors will be greeted by the chief and his warriors with clubs, spears, bows and arrows. Hear tales of cannibalism in the not-so-distant past and learn about the primitive but effective spears and other methods used to trap wildlife like pigs, chicken, and fish. See how locals test if a fish is poisonous: if ants avoid the fish, it's poisonous, but if they eat, the people do too. Next, is at the stunning blue lagoon. Upon arrival, be amazed by the stunningly clear waters and the jaw-dropping beauty of this untouched island paradise. Finally, our final stop is at Eden on the River where breathtaking views and an imposing mini waterfall await you . After your swim, enjoy a very generous BBQ lunch serving up tender and juicy Vanuatu steaks, chicken, sausages, salad and rice. At the end of the tour, enjoy drop-off back to your pickup destination, for cruise ship guests we will drop off back at the port. *Please note that lunch at the Blue Lagoon is only applicable on cruise ship days. For our hotel guest (on non cruise ship days) lunch will be usually served at Eden on the River.

This tour consists of three amazing stops. The first two, Blue Lagoon and Eden on the River, are covered only by our tour bus, while the last includes a 1-hour guided buggy ride. Get picked up from select hotels in Vanuatu and head toward the Blue Lagoon. Spend one hour swimming in the beautiful water and taking in views of the lush nature surrounding the lagoon.  The next stop is at Eden on the River. Spending one hour at Eden on the River, be amazed by one of the best cascades Port Vila has to offer. Breathtaking views and a magnificent waterfall await you. Eden is a hidden gem and you will get to enjoy the breathtaking scenery as well as the opportunity to swim. Finally, get to drive the buggies for 1 hour on a set course that will take you on road, off road, and through a private beach with an opportunity to swim as well.

With just one day in port in Port Vila, this full-day shore excursion ensures you take in all the highlights of Efate Island. Pepeyo Village offers a deeper insight into the local cultures of our islands. Learn about the last cases of cannibalism and be amazed by the techniques of food preservation. Next, spend an hour swimming in the Blue Lagoon at one of the best swimming holes on the island. After swimming, head to a local restaurant for lunch. Continue your tour with a stop at the Nasinu hot springs and mud bath. Let the mixture of sulfur and salt water soothe your body aches, arthritis, muscle pain, and skin conditions. After relaxing in the hot springs, refuel at Survivor Beach with some delicious afternoon tea before continuing to a coffee factory to learn more about this essential drink. Finish your experience with a Kava tasting.

This tour includes transfer from your selected pick up location and also includes the Skybridge lookout as part of the tour. Start the tour with a free transfer from selected hotels in Port Vila with transfers departing daily at 8 AM and 1 PM. Enjoy a 25-minute scenic drive in a 4WD Toyota Landcruiser up to the summit of Mele Bay. Arrive at the reception center to harness up and receive your safety briefing. When you're all set, embark on a 1.15-hour ziplining adventure. Glide high over the famous canyon and back with numerous incredible photo opportunities. Finally, return back to the reception center to deharness, grab a drink or snack, retrieve your belongings from of the lockers, and get driven back to the starting point. Soar through the rainforest canopy and experience a fantastic buzz while on 6 ziplines totalling 1.5 kms and the 120 metre Skybridge lookout. Zipline across canyons and ravines enjoying lush jungle and breathtaking water and jungle views. Feel the wind on your face. Designed for those of average mobility and strength who are in reasonably good health. Ages 5 to 80. Weight restriction 120 kgs. Waist circumference maximum of 120cms. Not suitable for pregnant women. Good mobility is essential as there are uneven jungle pathways and approximately 3 flights of stairs. Those in the group who prefer not to zipline are able to pay for a Skybridge ticket and walk along with the Zipliners taking photos and will meet the group on the Skybridge.

Note that there aren't lockers, though it is a safe environment. Beyond a sense of fun and adventure, bring your swimming gear (towels and bathers), and sunscreen. You may also like to bring any flotation devices or snorkels/goggles to add to your Blue Lagoon experience. You could easily spend hours at the Blue Lagoon, whether you're after doing a little or a lot. Jump into the lapis-hued waters off the wooden platforms, swing in off the rope swings, or jump in off the trees. You'll certainly see the local kids showing off their rope swing skills, and they love a bit of friendly competition for who can do the best jump. Around the Blue Lagoon, you'll find benches and grass where you can sit back and watch everything unfold. Next, head to Eden on the River. The first stop on your tour is Iarofa Village where you'll experience traditional local practices and skills including dancing and an amazing fire-walking display. Then discover the Blue Lagoon, a wonderful quirk of nature. The water is slightly salty and so blue from the mixing of the limestone fresh-water springs and the tidal sea water. Try the rope swings into the water. After the lagoon, visit Eton Village and Eton Primary School. Chat with the teachers and meet the pikininis (the students) or tour the school and gain an insight into how our children receive their learning. The students may perform a song for the guests or invite you to join them in a game of soccer or volleyball. Then stop by Pangpang to see the ancient banyan trees, before heading to a beach-side restaurant for light lunch.  After lunch, learn a little about the World War II history of Efate with Ernest. You'll hear his story and see his collection of unique World War II relics. Finally, visit Vanuatu's "Survivor Beach" at Gideon's Landing, which was the location for Season 9 of the hit American TV series, and enjoy afternoon tea (or coffee). If time permits, it may be possible to enjoy some snorkeling or swimming near the end of the tour.
