I've always enjoyed this lounge & appreciate the new expanded space. Its sadly gotten busier than it used to be, but the new expanded food options are a welcome treat. Also the bathrooms were converted to shower-spas, which was super nice to use, as I had been traveling since 2am that day.

Due to baggage check rules with a WestJet. We were attheairport 5 h I urs before we could check luggage in. And go thru security. Thank you for being open till 10pm. We were able to experience it. If we weren't sotiredof waiting all day. I'm sure it would have been better. Staff was friendly no complaints there, and food was good. Soda machine not working. Long lines to use restroom.

In view of the fact that day rooms are not available in hotels near Vancouver Airport for love not money, this premium lounge was a viable alternative for a long layover. We reserved a six hour slot. The food was of a high standard with good variety. We did not avail ourselves of the alcohol. The seats were comfortable though upright, the mood music not intrusive. Showers can be purchased (at a high additional fee) at the lounge in the International departure area, and you can also purchase time in a dedicated rest area. Given the cost of the lounge itself and the fact that we are not drinkers, we would have preferred to have access to the shower at a reasonable cost. It would also have been good to have the option of some reclining seats for those of us needing to put our feet up after or before a long flight.
