Discover Vancouver and adjacent North Shore on a fully-narrated 7-hour minicoach tour with an award-winning guide. Go to the incredible Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, discover the heart-stopping Cliffwalk, learn the life cycle of the salmon and more.
What to Expect
See the sights of downtown Vancouver and its surroundings on a comprehensive day trip. Travel by minicoach with an award-winning guide to Stanley Park, Granville Island and the Vancouver Lookout. Bordering downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park is almost entirely surrounded by the waters of Vancouver Harbour and English Bay and it was one of the first areas to be explored in the city. Cross to Granville Island to discover one of the city's hotspots for tourism and entertainment.
Then, go to the Vancouver Lookout in Harbour Centre for breathtaking views from the observation deck. Continue your journey through cosmopolitan and historic neighborhoods such as Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street, English Bay and Vancouver Harbour. Drive over the Lions Gate Bridge and into the temperate rainforest of Vancouver’s North Shore. Here, you will visit Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and the Capilano Salmon Hatchery.
Admire the heart-stopping suspension bridge that spans 450 feet (137 meters) across and 230 feet (70 meters) above the Capilano River. Then, discover one of Vancouver's most thrilling attractions at the daredevil Cliffwalk. The extraordinary cliffside journey takes you through rainforest vegetation on a series of unobtrusive, cantilevered and suspended walkways that jut out from the granite cliff face above the canyon. Not for the faint of heart, it is high and narrow and, in some sections, made of glass - very strong glass!
No visit to the Pacific Northwest would be complete without an impression of the life cycle of the Pacific salmon. Visit the Capilano Salmon Hatchery, where the interpretive center allows you to see fish develop from eggs to the juvenile stage. Depending on the season, you may also see juvenile salmon and trout in the display aquaria or mature returning salmon in the fish ladder.
