Full description

The Vancouver city highlights tour offers a personalized way to see the best of this beautiful city on the west coast of Canada. After a short ride through Stanley Park and past the ancient cedar trees, lies Prospect Point, the highest section in the park. Stop by the totem poles and learn about the history of Stanley park and the First Nations people that used to live there. Then embark on a scenic ride concluding the rest of Stanley park; past by English Bay, Gas town, and Chinatown. Stop and shop at the artisan shops and the Public Market for that one of a kind gift or some lunch, meet back at the bus 1 hour later.

Tim was an excellent guide/driver. My only negative comment is not about him, but about the website. It appears that there are errors or discrepancies there. I clearly followed the instructions for pick-up, but after waiting for several minutes, entering a “chat” with the company, and even having the concierge from the hotel designated for pick-up, I was finally informed that I didn’t include information for my hotel for pickup. It was VERY clearly stated that there was no individual hotel pickup! I even showed the driver/guide the information on the company’s website. Obviously, someone needs to monitor their site!

Greg our tour guide was excellent. Knowledgeable and entertaining. Tour hit all the highlights of Vancouver in just over three hours. Picked up and dropped off from our hotel. Could never have seen so much on our own. Comfortable and air conditioned coach.

Insgesamt hat uns die Tour gut gefallen und es ist eine gute Möglichkeit, einen Eindruck von der Stadt zu bekommen. Die Fahrt mit dem Bus macht auch dann Sinn, wenn man nicht perfekt englisch spricht und nicht jedes Wort des Guide versteht. Da sich der Treffpunkt geändert hat, wurden wir sogar am Hotel abgeholt. Insofern waren wir mit Service und Verlauf zufrieden. Nicht so gut gefallen hat uns die Erkundungstour im Einkaufsviertel, die letztendlich 1,5 Stunden dauerte. Wir dachten, man bekäme die Einkaufspassage nur gezeigt. Ein so langer Aufenthalt war uns nicht bewusst und vermittelte ein wenig den Eindruck einer Kaffeefahrt.
