I made the best choice by joining the day trip to Valparaíso, Viña del Mar, and Reñaca. The tour was thoroughly planned, with punctual pick-up and a very comfortable minivan. Our guide, Ignatio, and driver, Paolo, turned the day into an unforgettable experience. We visited all the destinations mentioned in the trip description, without feeling rushed or stressed. The walking tour in Valparaíso was excellent—comprehensive yet relaxing. Ignatio adapted the itinerary to suit the group’s preferences, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere throughout the trip was fantastic. In Reñaca, we had an hour for lunch and another hour to enjoy the beautiful ocean, beach, and resort area.

Rafael is a fun and energetic guide. He brought the trip so much life and made the trip very fun. we wished the walking tour of Valpairaso can be longer or add an additional free time to explore for a bit. we also went at the start of winter so couldn't enjoy the beach at vina del mar

Full description

Starting from your hotel in Santiago, meet your guide and travel 120 km to the Pacific Ocean through the Curacavi Valley where you will have the chance to see diverse scenery. On the road, stop in the typical hostelry Millahue for the chance to taste the typical Chilean drink, the "chicha".

Arrive in Valparaiso and admire the amazing houses on the hills. Take a sightseeing tour of Victoria Square, Sotomayor Square, the naval heroes monument, and the May 21st Lookout. Take a walk into the hills, using 1 or 2 elevators or explore the bay area.

Next stop in Viña del Mar, the city known as the Garden City. Explore some remarkable locations in the resort town including the floral clock, the Casino, and Reñaca beach where you'll have time to stop for lunch at your own expense. After lunch, spend a bit more free time to enjoy relaxing on the beach. Finally, before taking the coast road back to Santiago, stop at the Quinta Vergara, a place known for the international song festival. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Santiago.

We enjoyed the trip end to end. Rafael is a great guide, you are never bored. Valparaiso is amazing. Most of he locals advised us not to visit Valparaiso due to safety conditions, however you can take this tour and you will be safe all the time, and what's more you'll have a lot of fun!!!!
