You will see a wide range of wildlife that coexists with fishermen, such as Sea Lions and Humboldt Pelicans. The historic city of Valparaiso has been desired since its inception by sailors, merchants, armies, and pirates. Its strategic position made it the most prosperous place of the 19th century on the Pacific coast, leading it to become a South American industrial powerhouse by immigrants from all over the world. Depart Santiago for some of Chile’s most iconic destinations, such as Valparíso and Viña del Mar, and stop at one of the best wine markets in Casablanca along the way and visit the famous Reñaca beach. Marvel at the imposing Andean mountains that line the road for your full-day tour outside Santiago. You’ll stop at Río Tinto in the town of Casablanca, a wine market in the middle of Chile’s wine region, where they’ll serve you a complimentary glass of wine and an olive oil tasting. Then, visit Valparaíso and its city center, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll see the Colorful Stairs, the beautiful Valparaiso Paintings, and Cerro Alegre, as well as panoramic views of the National Congress. Your next stop is Viña del Mar, famous for its music scene and its many parks and gardens, which have earned it the nickname “The Garden City.” Then, visit the famous Flower Clock of Viña del Mar and its Ocean Avenue. Continue along the coastline to the north to visit Reñaca, the most popular beach area in the region. This will be your lunch stop and you can visit the beach and touch the waters of the Pacific. And if you are very lucky, you may be graced with the presence of sea lions. On this tour, you will also see the MOAI of Easter Island at the entrance to the Fonck Museum. After this, we will return to Santiago at an average time of 3 p.m.

Starting from your hotel in Santiago, meet your guide and travel 120 km to the Pacific Ocean through the Curacavi Valley where you will have the chance to see diverse scenery. On the road, stop in the typical hostelry Millahue for the chance to taste the typical Chilean drink, the "chicha". Arrive in Valparaiso and admire the amazing houses on the hills. The tour begins in the Prat Pier, near the two cannons and Tourist Information Office. From this place, you'll walk to the square to see and compare old pictures of Valparaiso with the current look. After that, you'll move to the hills using the El Peral funicular. Enjoy panoramic views of the hills using this means of transport built in the early twentieth century. Learn the stories about Cerro Concepción and Cerro Alegre. The visit to ancient places located between the narrow streets will immerse you in the cultural atmosphere of this bohemian city. You will enjoy street art, colonial houses, and cultural interventions in public spaces that maintain the tradition of local cultural values. The restaurants, cafeteria, art galleries, artists, and souvenir shops will allow you to take a special moments and memories of a charming city. The Pasaje Bavestrello showcases the area's the Italian heritage and how the people shared community life in those days. Enjoy a tasty Alfajor made by local people to support the local business. Pass by different places to buy souvenirs, crafts, art, magnetics, jewelry or other interesting products. The stairs from the song "Latinoamérica" by Calle 13 are a famous colorful place. Later, see a lot of street art in Pasaje Gálvez. See the restaurant La Concepción, a famous restaurant with a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view to the sea. Continue to Paseo Atkinson to enjoy the charm of Valparaiso's British heritage, with wonderful houses and beautiful gardens. Pass by the Deutsche Schule of Valparaíso (German College) that shows the important German heritage of the city. Brighton Restaurant offers a panoramic view of the city from the terrace and lets you taste the Chilean seafood. Pastor Theodor Schmidt passage commemorates the German pastor that was managing the Lutheran Church. The Hotel Manoir Atkinson shows the techniques used on big walls to resist the environmental conditions in all seasons. The Piano Staircase will be one of the famous attractions in the city. The Anglican Saint Paul Cathedral was one of the first places that was built in the hills to maintain a united community. Walk down Paseo Dimalow in Cerro Alegre to enjoy a beautiful views of the hills and get some info about the restaurants around this area.
