Spend the day on Gozo and compare its green landscape and historical monuments to Malta. Benefit from pick-up at your hotel, and then cross by ferry to visit the megalithic Ggantija Temples, built more than 5,550 years ago. Drive to Marsalforn to board a trackless train for a 40-minute ride past Marsalforn Bay, Qbajjar Bay and Xwejni Bay. Get panoramic views of the salt pans. Next, visit the Crafts Center to taste some of the traditional food of Malta and purchase traditional crafts. Continue to Dwejra Bay to discover the Inland Sea and mushroom-like rock formation of Il-Ġebla tal-Ġeneral. Take a short boat trip, weather permitting. Explore the capital city of Victoria and see landmarks such as the Bronze Age fortifications of the Cittadella – formerly Il Castello – developed by the Phoenicians and converted to an Acropolis in Roman times. Well organized and conceptually very interesting excursion. Optional boat trip in Dwarja through the cave-like passage in the rock cliff is strongly recommended. Nice experience at the sea with fantastic insight to several, colourful caves and view on the surrounding cliffs. (All for additional just 4 EUR).

we were the first ones to be picked up outside The Phoenicia Hotel in valletta in a full-size coach. then pick ups were made all over the places and eventually made it to ferry port about 12. very hot and humid day. so many stops and weren't given any free time to explore on our own. very short limited time on each place. arrive in Victoria about 3, at this point we were starving as lunch was included in the price so we were taken to a restaurant. we eat halal but there was no vegetarian of fish option were included so we were given some boiled vegetables while rest of the group was given piece of roast chicken and boiled vegetables. very disappointing. After lunch there was no time to explore the capital. and once again in the coach and back with never ending drop offs and yes we were the last one out of the bus. very disappointing trip.

This trip had everything a person who is visiting Malta and Gozo island for the first time would really enjoy seeing. They would be suprised that this little country has such a rich and beautiful history. During the trip we visited the temple, which has an i teresting story, but basically barely any visuals. Next - was the trackless trains - which were interesting, and during the train you could see a lot of picturesque views, and later on you visit Dwejra were you must swim with the boat through the caves to see some beautiful caves, and colourful corals. Lastly - Victoria - which has the incredible basilica, worth seeing, and a hill, where you climb onto a see a panoramic view of the whole Gozo island
