It was a right decision to purchase ticket for hop-on hop-off bus. The city is quite big, it would be difficult to visit all the places using public transportation, especially with kids. Drivers are very friendly, some spoke good English. Took few rides and all were on time.

This is a multilingual tour bus. The tour is 100% conducted via headphones, which they supply. The tour information is very interesting but it is given by a prerecorded message, which can be a problem due that a lot of the audio boxes do not work fully. The bus times for the hop-on-hop-off feature is very convenient. There’s no assigned seating and the driver only needs to see your ticket initially and then the receipt he provides you each time you enter the bus again. We really enjoyed both the tour and the bus ride. Definitely a great way to see the city and all the sites if you have limited time.

We hopped on at stop 6. C.C Aqua directly opposite our hotel, Primus Valencia. (We needed the hotel’s help as apparently there are green and red bud tour services stopping at different places and at different times, the info is not stated at the bus stop). Once you find a seat with working headphone port (a few were broken/not working) you will enjoy the audio that accompanies the tour which goes into a good amount of detail as you pass the key points of interest. We purchased the 48hr ticket as was only a couple of €’s more than the standard 24hr ticket. If you purchase via the app you just have to show the QR code to the bus driver who will issue the physical tickets (do not lose these as if you do, you will have to re-buy).
