What to Expect
Once the group meets the tour guide, the time travel will start from the two thousand year old Roman foundations.

The city was founded where today you'll find the Virgin Square and the Basilica, a building important for Valencian people because it houses the Virgin patron saint of Valencia. Its dome covered by blue tiles keeps a secret inside: fresco paintings composing a symbolic window to heaven.

The Cathedral of Valencia is the most important temple and during the visit inside (ticket included) it is possible to see Goya paintings, the uncorrupted arm of Saint Vincent and of course, the famous jewel kept inside the chapel, the Holy Grail.

Walking through the streets of this Mediterranean and medieval city allows you to discover picturesque sights, like the narrowest building in Europe or the Round Square, but especially the Market Quarter, where a horchata drink is the perfect way to refresh and continue the walk (drink included).

The Central Market is a huge Modernist building constructed in the early 20th century. Here, you can witness an incredible scene of the daily life of local people. Inside, you can find all kinds of produce some of them from the Valencian area like fruits and vegetables.

The Lonja de la Seda (Silk's Exchange) is maybe the iconic monument in the city. Listed as an UNESCO World Heritage, walking into this building (ticket included) will transport you to the Golden Century of Valencia (the 15th century).
