Even if the weather didn't cooperate 100%, this excursion was still an experience. Our guide Paulius used the short drive to Requena to give us a lot of information about the landscape, history and viticulture. The visit to the caves of Requena was unique because one would not expect such a branched underground system at this point. The tasting of the regional wines in the house of the wine cooperative followed. We continued to Don Angel's winery near the village of Utiel. Here, too, detailed explanations and information on viticulture and the winery itself. Then there was an excellent sequence of dishes to which one could taste the house wines. This was accompanied by the explanations and comments on the individual wines. The drive back to Valencia passed quickly and the noise of the Fallas had us back. Many thanks to our guide Paulius, who tried very hard to explain all aspects of the trip to us.

This is an excellent tour! Valerie's passion for the area and her love of wine make for an unforgettable day. We were greeted like friends at both vineyards and the owners made us feel right at home. The traditional lunch was delicious. Thank you for a great introduction to the wines of the region!

It was great to see where everything was located and hop off when I wanted to see something.

Everything went great! Exchange for tickets went smoothly!

The best way to get a sense for Valencia, beautiful city.
