Explore the vineyards and the wine cellars of the renowned winery of Cousiño Macul. Discover the Chilean wine-making tradition as you get acquainted with the history of the winery and wine production. At the end of your tour, taste some of the delicious wines produced here.  The tour begins in the outdoor area where the winery guide will explain the grapes that produce the best wines - Finis Terrae and Lota. Learn about the quality of the vineyard and the concept about how smaller the amount of grape clusters, the greater the concentration of its compounds. Continue through the winery with the largest barrels in Chile and in the world, made with Chilean oak and with a capacity for 30,000 liters, though no longer used are still a part of history. See many more elements and old pieces that were used for wine production and get to understand the differences between the old and modern-day production processes. Walk among the huge stainless steel barrels where the wine is processed today and visit the cellars that were built in the 19th century to see how and where the wine is stored. Before the end of the tour, you will partake in a tasting of some of Cousino Macul wines with some guidance on what to see, taste, and smell.

This wine tour in the Maipo Valley will visit 2 vineyards. The traditional, Concha y Toro and Viña Undurraga. Your driver will collect you at 8:00AM and take you to Viña Undurraga. At the Vineyard, the tour lasts approximately one hour and 15 minutes and includes a comprehensive tour of all aspects of the winery and tasting of 3 reserve wines (according to availability) and a gift glass. After you're finished at Viña Undurraga, you'll take a lunch break for approximately an hour and a half. The visit to Concha y Toro begins at Don Melchor square, where you'll be greeted by a guide who will take you to enjoy a panoramic view of the Pirque vineyard accompanied by a glass of wine. With a glass in your hand, walk through the old park and appreciate the Casona de Pirque, the historic residence of the Concha y Toro family. This is the place where the largest viticultural company in the country was born more than 100 years ago. In the vineyards of Pirque, you'll learn all about the technological management that is required for high-quality viticulture. Viña Concha y Toro will also offer you a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon before the tour finishes. You will return to your hotel between 5:30-6:00 PM.

This winery will tell you the long history of the Chilean wine production so will have a better overview to understand why is the quality of our wines. You'll start tasting 4 premium wines plus the full tour to gardens, vineyards, productions warehouse, wine barrel cellar, pre-columbian exposition. Also you will get a wine glass of wine gift. History, architecture and wine. A combination that you cannot miss! We start our day in the direction of Viña Cousiño Macul, founded in 1856 and being one of the oldest vineyards in the Maipo Valley. The architecture of this place has a beautiful French style with a stone base and brick vaults glued with mortar (a mixture of lime, sand and egg white). Here you can enjoy a tour, learn about the history and taste its exquisite varieties of wine. Then, we will visit the Bahá`i House of Worship, the first in South America. An imposing place that stands out for its architecture and lighting, here you can connect with yourself in a calm and serene environment. Located in the foothills of the Andes, it also gives you a spectacular panoramic view of Santiago.

This was a fun and informative tour! The group had a variety of people - all ages, some couples, some friend groups, and some solo travelers. Nacho was a fun guide and they serve you a LOT of wine! It’s a little pricey, but overall worth it for a fun day visiting the vineyards.

Cata was our guide and she was excellent! Very informative and fun! Really loved the organization with the small vineyard first and the largest vineyard last. Great tours at each of the wineries. Beautiful area to tour. Highly recommended.

Cata is an amazing tour guide, when I first saw the program, i thought the campo lá quirinca it was gone be the less interesting but it became a great surprise, and their wine is just great!
