We had an amazing day with our guide Carlos. We were lucky as there were only 3 of us on the tour that day so it was very private. The train cemetery was ok, the market was pointless but it was all about the salt flats for us and they didn’t disappoint it’s spectacular. The food and wine were really good too. Would 100% recommend

It was a great experience. The friendly staff went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. David also escorted me to the pharmacy at no charge after the tour was over, as I was feeling ill from altitude sickness, and he acted as my translator when I could not speak Spanish and helped me get the medications I needed prescribed. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience.

Full description

Uyuni Salt Flats Tour 1 day, first we start with the pick up from the hotel in Uyuni, then we will go to the train cemetery to see the old locomotives. Then we head to the community of Colchani (the gateway to the Salar) where we will find rustic handicraft workshops and the rustic micro-processor of table salt. Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni we will make stops to see salt extractions, salt eyes and the salt hotel Playa Blanca which currently only functions as a museum. Later we will visit the most popular island of the Salar located in the middle of the Salar, the Incahuasi Island where we will hike and we will be able to appreciate large extensions of cactus, sea rock fossils and spectacular 360° views from the viewpoint. Finishing our tour, we head to the town of Uyuni. Note: Visit to Incahuasi Island not available during the rainy season

What a beautiful tour. Just majestic to be there and seeing the beauty that surrounds us. Juan our guide and Luiz our driver were lovely. Took great pictures and were really accommodating. The only thing I would say is that the organisation at the beginning could be improved. It states it includes pick up and drop off but apparently it doesn’t - which was fine as only a 10 min walk for me. And prior to the trip there was no communication to say you might need your passport. But aside from the this, the spots, the photos the lunch, snacks, sunset and magical surroundings far outweighed any of that!!
