Arriving at "Rancho Hambre", the last detachment of Vialidad Nacional, the epic part of the adventure begins: climbing the mountain range. Arriving at Paso Garibaldi, we make a stop at the top to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Escondido Lake, which is framed by the 2 mountain ranges. It is a place where nature is shown at its best, with pure air, snow-capped peaks and landscapes that will leave you speechless. We continue and descend through old roads that were opened by the axe cutters who worked in the lenga sawmills.
