Get picked up from your hotel and transferred to the starting point of the walk, about 20 minutes from the city of Ushuaia. Before starting the activity, you will be provided with trekking poles, crampons if necessary, and a box lunch. The walk crosses forests and two different valleys following the Esmeralda River to its source. After five kilometers of walking and about 250 meters of unevenness, reach the Laguna Esmeralda where you'll take a break for lunch and a cup of tea or coffee. The return is made by the same path to the base of the road where a minibus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel. From the boat, you can see penguins at their breeding site. Next, hike to explore this wonderful island along beaver dams, through the forest, and along the marine coast until you reach the boat that will take you back to Puerto Harberton. Then, take the bus to Ushuaia.

Enjoy an intense walk a ride in inflatable canoes, across an incredible landscape with rivers, sea, mountains, and forests.  Inside the Tierra del Fuego National Park walk a 7-kilometer path, considered of medium difficulty, to discover a recovered paradise where the mountains can be reached from near the sea, and freshwater rivers and lakes coexist with the marine coast. Near the Acigami Lake, enjoy lunch in a dining tent out of the wind or rain. Afterwards, grab your provided rubber boots, pants, and life jackets and get aboard very safe and stable inflatable canoes. Reach Lapataia Bay following the slow flow of the Lapataia and Ovando rivers. For about an hour, you will see the transition from the freshwater environment to the sea at Lapataia Bay.

Your trek to the Vinciguerra Glaciar begins with a morning transfer from your hotel to the Valley of Andorra. Leave the vehicle behind and challenge the wet and slippery ground as you follow a meandering river that cuts across peat bogs that line the valley.    Arrive at the forest and prepare for an initially demanding ascent that becomes easier once reaching the treeline some 600-meters above sea level. Once above the treeline have views of the surrounding mountain range's craggy peaks that enclose the valley. Continue along a stream that feeds from a glacial lagoon and arrive at the Vinciguerra Glaciar only a few dozen meters ahead.  During your trek enjoy a boxed lunch with drinks. Your arrival time back at your hotel is approximately 4:30 PM. 

This is the perfect tour for those who love walking and being outdoors. Departing at 2:30 PM, transfer to the Valle de Tierra Mayor, the starting point for this medium intensity walk to visit the Emerald Lagoon. The difficulty is defined by the type of terrain and not by the slope.  This route will take you through a forest and then through a peat zone, which can be very wet. The lagoon is incredibly beautiful and so are the mountains that surround it. After you return from the 4-hour walk to the lagoon, enjoy a delicious Patagonian dinner with red wine in a wooden cottage that overlooks the Valle de Tierra Mayor.

Start the day with a pickup from your hotel around 8 AM and head for the Tierra del Fuego National Park where you’ll visit the most relevant sites with priority given to the natural attractions away from the tourist-dense locations. Walk some short, low-difficulty trails and make the most of your time with some expert information from your guide with lots of attention to detail. See all of the most popular panoramic points of interest within the national park, and visit Ensenada Bay, Cormorant Archipelago and, of course, Lapataia Bay, the end of all roads in South America. After meeting with your guide, you will head towards Brown Bay passing through a glacial valley. From here, you will start your navigation across the landscapes of Beagle Channel. Enjoy the views while crossing Mackinlay pass, then be amazed by the wildlife while sailing along islands with colonies of sea lions, rock shags and magellanic penguins (about 50 minute sail). After reaching the shore, you will find a fresh seafood lunch waiting for you at a local restaurant. Learn more about the way of life of the fishermen and inhabitants from the small village of Almanza. Afterwards, begin your hiking adventure to El Duende Waterfall. As we hike, immerse yourself in nature and listen to the sound of the waterfall. As the ice on the cake, you will visit the most famous flag tree of Tierra del Fuego before heading back to your hotel in Ushuaia.
