What to Expect
This tour starts with the navigation from the tourist port of Ushuaia toward the center of the Beagle Channel, enjoying, as you move, the panoramic view of the coast of Ushuaia, overlooking the most important buildings: the Maritime Museum (former prison), the Museum End of the World, the industrial area, and Olivia and Cinco Hermanos mountains.
You will sail southwest, approaching the Isla de los Lobos, where you can enjoy the view of specimens of sea lions, watching their permanent habitat.
Then, you will head to the island of birds, habitat of the Magellanic Cormorants and Imperial Cormorants. Its a super privileged place to spot specimens of marine birds.
The farthest point of navigation is Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, in the archipelago of the same name. In these islands it's possible to see part of the Monte Cervantes boat that sank in 1930.
Following the southern part of the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego you will see the Estancia Remolino. Across the Beagle Channel, you will visit the Gable Island and Naval Base Puerto Williams (located on Navarino Island, Republic of Chile). Upon reaching the Martillo island you will stop to observe the Magellanic Penguin colony.
From here you will return to the local port.
