You will be able to choose from 3 different tours: Ushuaia Scenic Tour (7 min): This flight will give you an excellent view of the city, Golondrina Bay, Susana Mount, Martial Glacier, Presidio and Ushuaia Port harbor and bay. Emerald Lagoon (15 min): Fly over Ushuaia city, and get a clear view of Olivia Mountain. Join this active excursion to take part in the most comprehensive day tour of Tierra del Fuego. In addition to Gable Island, visit the Harberton Ranch and the penguin colony on Martillo Island. Leave Ushuaia toward the east until you arrive at Lasifashaj River. There, preparations will begin to paddle inflatable canoes along the river and the Beagle Channel. You will be provided with rubber boots, trousers, and life jackets to paddle downstream and to the sea in the Beagle Channel. At the sea, you will see wildlife, including a variety of seabirds and maybe even some sea lions. Then, arrive at the Harberton Ranch and take a motorboat towards the Isla Martillo. From the boat, you can see penguins at their breeding site. An off-road vehicle will pick you up at your hotel to take you through the Fuegian Andes Mountain Range to visit three special viewpoints. Head down an old woodcutter's path across the forest and down a hill until you reach Fagnano Lake. Then, cross by foot the beautiful native forest towards Escondido Lake. Once you reach a wooden cottage, head inside and tuck into a delicious traditional asado (barbecue). Finally, after lunch, grab the oars with a paddle buddy to start your 45-minute canoe excursion. Head off on a full-day excursion in the wilderness of southern Argentina with a 4WD tour, followed by horseback riding, and a walk around marvelous lakes with the majestic Andes Mountains surrounding you. Start your day bright and early with a pickup at your hotel, and head straight to the lake region by driving on the national route N°3, where you will cross peat valleys and the Andes Mountains through the Garibaldi Pass. Continue along the road through old trails used for logging, marveling at the deep valleys around you as your expert local guide tells you the history of the route and the mountains. Once you cross the iconic Andes Mountains, catch a glimpse of the glorious Lago Escondido, before descending to its borders, where you'll begin your off-roading adventure. Once there, stop for a rest to meet your horses, and enjoy a delicious snack. Immerse yourself in the incredible nature of Tierra del Fuego on this full-day tour. After getting picked up from your hotel in Ushuaia, head inland driving the National Route 3, leaving the Beagle Channel and Ushuaia bay following upstream the Olivia River to reach the Carbajal Valley. Once driving this dramatic valley with magnificent views you will see different winter sports centers (heart of the winter activities in Ushuaia) and will have the chance to visit a huskie dogs sled center or a special local Gin Distillery. After sometime driving the Carbajal Valley cross over the Andes northwards through the Garibaldi Pass taking alternative mountainous roads through forest, crossing streams, passing beaver dams. and reaching great views of the Escondido and Fagnano Lake. At the shore of the Escondido Lake enjoy an easy walk and a coffee break with nice views. Some more driving and you will be in front of the 5th largest lake of Argentina: Fagnano Lake. With its 60+ miles of lenght this massive lake will be the return point to go back to the south face of the Andes Range again. Once at the car, head to a traditional Argentine restaurant located at a cross-country ski center in the Carbajal Valley. Sit down to a well-deserved lunch composed of salads, lamb, dessert and coffee. Vegetarian options are available. After the tour, get dropped off back at your hotel in Ushuaia.
