What You'll Do
  • Visit the Beagle Channel on a half-day yacht excursion from Ushuaia
  • Take in the picturesque views of snow-capped mountain peaks from the water
  • Stop to enjoy a nature walk on Bridges Island
Overview
Sail to the Beagle Channel by yacht from the extreme southern tip of South America. Depart from Ushuaia, Argentina and take in the spectacular scenery en route. Stop for a walk on Bridges Island, and enjoy refreshments on board.
What to Expect
Set sail through Ushuaia Bay on this half-day excursion to the Beagle Channel, and enjoy the views of the mountainous surroundings as you head towards Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, one of the city’s icons.

Admire the rock cormorant birds perched on the cliffs, and fur seals sunning on other islands. You'll also see De los Pájaros Island, home to royal and imperial cormorants, and other native birds.

Sail to one of the Bridges Isles, where you’ll find the biggest shell deposits, known as the Yamana’s concheros. You’ll also have splendid views of the Chilean and Argentinean shores.

Before heading back to Ushuaia, you’ll stop at Bridges Island and disembark for a 45 minute walk along a path to see the local birds, flowers, and archaeological remains.

Refreshments available on board include tea, chocolate, coffee, liquor, cookies and, of course, the typical Argentine mate.

The yacht has a capacity of 26 passengers.
