Here, board the train to travel the last 7 km of the original 25 km that the prisoners traveled 100 years ago and be enchanted by the extraordinary landscape. In Lapataia Bay, find mollusks, mussels, and traces of the ancient native people who inhabited the region. Walk along the footbridge and feel like you're at the end of the world. From here, at the end of National Route No. 3, start your return to Ushuaia.

Enjoying nature, the silence, the noise of the birds fluttering, the water, the trees, the stories told and much more are the sensations that you will experience in this impressive natural and historical monument for half a day. Your adventure begins from the hotel heading towards the entrance of the Tierra del Fuego National Park along National Route No. 3 by mini-bus. We enter the park delighting ourselves with its landscapes of lengas and cherries. We will walk along an interpretation path accompanied by our magnificent guides, who are very knowledgeable about the place and its nooks and crannies. From there we went to Lake Roca - Errazuriz to appreciate its waters and particularity, the surrounding forest made up of specimens that are over 300 years old and the borders with Chile. Nearby is the Alakush Visitor Center, within which we will visit the interpretation room on the fauna, flora and zoology of the place; and the exhibition on the human occupation of the park (among them the Yámanas, the first pioneers and the sawmills). Before continuing our adventure, we take some time to relax with wonderful views. After the break, we are ready to continue connecting trails until we reach the end of National Route 3 in Bahía Lapataia. Then we will make a stop in Ensenada Zaratiegui where we will find the Southernmost Post Office and we will walk a short path that will allow us to appreciate the rock formations and the forest falling to the sea line. This experience lasts approximately four hours, and due to weather conditions and/or external variables, it may extend up to five hours. We will end our adventure with the feeling of having been part of the history and nature of our island (includes Train). IMPORTANT NOTE: The order and pick up times of the trips may vary. For security reasons, trekking boots and mountain clothing is necessary for this activity. In case you do not have the appropriate clothing you will have the option to rent. Get picked up from your hotel and transferred to the starting point of the walk, about 20 minutes from the city of Ushuaia. Before starting the activity, you will be provided with trekking poles, crampons if necessary, and a box lunch. The walk crosses forests and two different valleys following the Esmeralda River to its source. After five kilometers of walking and about 250 meters of unevenness, reach the Laguna Esmeralda where you'll take a break for lunch and a cup of tea or coffee. The return is made by the same path to the base of the road where a minibus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel. We will take the train at the End of the World Station. On board the train you will be able to hear the story of the prisoners who came daily to cut wood to this area, and delight in magnificent landscapes, composed of the zigzagging Pipo River, the La Macarena waterfall, the tree cemetery and the majestic forest of lengas In this way you will visit an inaccessible part of the Tierra del Fuego National Park, where you can enjoy this experience aboard a vintage railway, with its steam locomotives and elegant cars that have large windows and an individual audio system, the which offers the possibility of listening to the story in 7 different languages, in order to not only appreciate the nature that surrounds it, but also know a very important part of the history of Ushuaia. The train crosses the Cañadón del Toro and crosses the Pipo River over the so-called Puente Quemado, where the wooden remains of the old bridge are found under the new tracks. When crossing the Bridge, you access the first stop; La Macarena Station, as well as you can also see the changing Pipo River, a typical river formed by meltwater, which descends from the mountains and flows into the Beagle Channel. Once on board the train again, the trip continues to the National Park Station, contemplating the magnificent landscape offered by mountains and valleys near its border. On board each training our guides, tourism professionals, will be able to inform you everything related to the history of the original prisoners' train and about the different geographical characteristics of flora, fauna as well as what can be seen during the tour in case if you have any doubts about it. Arriving at the National Park Station, our last stop, your guide will be waiting for you to continue your visit to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. The National Park represents the southernmost protected area in Argentina. It is the only one that has sea coasts and mountains. On this tour we will visit the Pipo River, Monte Susana, Acigami Lake, Alacush Visitor Center, Laguna Verde and Lapataia Bay where the Pan-American route system ends. We will make descents to take photographs and a walk of about 30 minutes that will be subject to weather conditions. The topography of the Park is extremely varied, being a succession of steep mountains, rivers, valleys, lakes until accessing the coast of the Beagle Channel. Throughout the year you can admire the subantarctic forest. The most common mammal is the Fuegian red fox. The variety of marine and mountainous environments allows bird species to live here, from the cachaña, the giant woodpecker, the pintail and the Patagonian thrush, to the caranca cauqué, symbol of the National Park. At the end of the excursion, we will return from the National Park to Ushuaia in a shared transfer.

We begin the navigation leaving from the Tourist Pier of our city, in the direction of the Beagle Channel, enjoying as we move away, the panoramic view of the Ushuaia coast, spotting the most important buildings, the Maritime Museum (former prison), the Museum of Fin del Mundo, the industrial area, and the Olivia and Cinco Hermanos mountains. We go to the Bridges Islands where we make our stop and descent on Karelo Island. It is important to note that the walk that is done during this visit is not difficult and is within the reach of anyone. We sail to the southwest, approaching the island of Los Lobos, where, from the boat, we can enjoy the view of specimens of sea lions, observing their permanent habitat, in a wonderful setting. Continuing the navigation, we will head towards the island of Los Pájaros, habitat of Magellanic cormorants and Imperial cormorants and a privileged sector to spot specimens of marine birds. We continue to the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, in the archipelago of the same name, where the Monte Cervantes shipwrecked in 1930. The return will be through the Paso Chico, seeing the Túnel and Fique ranches, we return to Ushuaia, with a view of the imposing frame that Monte Martial and the glacier of the same name give the city.
