This wine tour in the Maipo Valley will visit 2 vineyards. The traditional, Concha y Toro and Viña Undurraga. Your driver will collect you at 8:00AM and take you to Viña Undurraga. At the Vineyard, the tour lasts approximately one hour and 15 minutes and includes a comprehensive tour of all aspects of the winery and tasting of 3 reserve wines (according to availability) and a gift glass. After you're finished at Viña Undurraga, you'll take a lunch break for approximately an hour and a half. The visit to Concha y Toro begins at Don Melchor square, where you'll be greeted by a guide who will take you to enjoy a panoramic view of the Pirque vineyard accompanied by a glass of wine. With a glass in your hand, walk through the old park and appreciate the Casona de Pirque, the historic residence of the Concha y Toro family. This is the place where the largest viticultural company in the country was born more than 100 years ago. In the vineyards of Pirque, you'll learn all about the technological management that is required for high-quality viticulture. Viña Concha y Toro will also offer you a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon before the tour finishes. You will return to your hotel between 5:30-6:00 PM.

Departing between 8:00 - 8:30 AM, head towards the wine-producing region of the Maipo Valley. In under an hour, you will arrive at the town of Isla de Maipo where you will make your first stop at the Tarapaca Vineyard. From there, observe the beautiful surroundings and take some fantastic photographs. See the Maipo River, which is so important to Central Chile, and learn about the flora and fauna of the area. Following this, explore the town of Isla de Maipo and get to know its customs, architecture, and distinctive character. The next part of the experience starts with a visit to either De Martino, Santa Ema or Undurraga Vineyard. See the gardens, vineyards, and storage cellar at one of these traditional vineyards, ending with a wine tasting. Next, enjoy a wine and cheese tasting as you visit a small family vineyard that has been producing wines and spirits for 3 generations.  When you finish the tour, you're invited to the local partner's facilities, located in a beautiful agricultural field nestled between some hills. Since it's lunchtime, you'll sample the best food and drinks that local producers have to offer. Enjoy some local recipes and flavors to end this unique tour.  If you are being dropped off in Santiago, you will arrive around 6:00 PM.

Founded in 1885 by Don Francisco Undurraga Vicuña, this is one of the oldest wineries in Chile. Located in the heart of the Maipo Valley, in Fundo Santa Ana, here you can visit one of the pioneering vineyards in Chilean viticulture. With over 130 years of experience and innovation, at Viña Undurraga we invite you to learn how unique wines are made, from specific origins, which reflect the best of Chile's terroirs and valleys. On your visit to Santiago, embark on this 40-minute journey to the Winery. Upon arrival at Vinicola, you will meet your guide Undurraga who will give you a tour in the chosen language. Your guide will walk through the beautiful gardens of the Undurraga. Exploring the Garden, where you will find varieties of vines and have a breathtaking panoramic view. Visit the cellars, including the Museum of the Mapuche People. A selection of four wines will be offered over the course of this 1-hour tour and a complimentary glass of wine will be provided. In about another 30 minutes, you will be able to visit the wine shop and see the variety of local products offered by Undurraga before being transferred back to your hotel.

Established in 1885 by Francisco Undurraga Vicuña, one of the oldest wine cellars in Chile. Located in the Santa Ana estate, in the heart of the Maipo valley, you’ll visit one of the pioneers in viticulture in Chile. They make unique wines and visit their wine cellars with over 130 years of experience. you will be able to tell the enigmas, flavors, aromas, and history of its wineries. Guided tour of approximately one hour. The Viña park will be visited, passing through the Aliwen corner where the Mapuche worldview is made known. The tour continues through the vineyards to later appreciate a garden of varieties. You will enter the centuries-old cellars, and then finish with a tasting of four reserved wines.

Take a trip to the Undurraga Vineyard on this 4-hour private guided tour from Santiago. Walk through the grounds to get to know the landscape and learn about the Mapuche people, native to the area. Taste wines, cheese, and dried fruits before taking the time to browse the gift shop. At the prearranged time in the morning or afternoon, meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel in the Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura, or Santiago Centro neighborhood. Board the van and head out for the Undurraga Vineyard, about 40 minutes south. In 1903 Undurraga Vineyard became the first Chilean vineyard to export to the United States and later in 1930, started exporting to all Latin America. Start the tour at the Undurraga family park, the Aliwen corner, to become familiar with the culture of the Mapuche, one of Chile’s numerous indigenous groups. While in the Aliwen corner, you will see the typical vegetation of southern Chile, as well as tall ceremonial carved wooden sculptures that are unique to the Mapuche culture.  Next visit the underground cellars of Fundo Santa Ana de Talagante to have a tasting of four premium reserve wines, accompanied by cheese and dried fruits. You can keep your wine tasting glass as a souvenir.  Afterward, take some time to shop around in the wine store and purchase some wine or more souvenirs. Your tour concludes with a drop-off back in Santiago. Please note that a minimum of three people per booking is required.

Find out where Concha y Toro wines come from in the Grape Variety Garden, where you'll discover around 26 varieties of wine grapes and a panoramic view of Maipo Valley. Visit the Old Pirque vineyard and the wine cellars, including the centenarian Casillero del Diablo, the birthplace of the wine legend. • Cousiño Macul — Visit the traditional winery of Cousiño Macul, which holds true to a more than 100-year-old tradition of grape growing, and is recognized as one of the oldest wineries in the country. The cellar is made of Cal y Canto — a mixture of lime, sand, and egg white — and is one of the most beautiful examples of this style in Chile. Explore the winemaking process and learn about the huge contrast in equipment used in old wineries such as these, and the newer equipment most modern wineries now use.

Our guide Maru was amazing, her energy and enthusiasm were contagious. We had a great group of people which made it even more enjoyable. Maru was very knowledgeable of wine production and the various wines of the region. The restaurant and winery for lunch was delicious. We stopped at three different wineries all very distinctly unique. It was a great day!
