At times the guides English was diff to understand but she was very personable. The underground was very interesting n worth seeing. Only there was a v tight passage to go thru at one time. If u are over 100kg or over 6ft 4 it may not be suitable. Gets v tight n low in some places as well as no lighting. It can be sat out n rejoin group.

The overall tour was very interesting and our tour guide, Maya, was very knowledgeable and quite engaging. Spending some time in some of the lower levels of Naples history gave an additional appreciation of this city's overall rich historical branches. I would have given this tour a 5-star rating in all categories if it had not been listed as a "skip the line tour", because you do not skip any line. When arriving at the entrance, even if you show the employees your "skip the line" ticket, they have you stand in line with everyone else that has shown up. It is noted, however, that we were still taken at the scheduled time: even though the group was quite large (about 30 people), Maya was able to make sure that everyone was able to hear/see all things. 5 stars for Maya 4+ stars for the event itself.

Really important - if you're at all claustrophobic this tour is not for you - we had to wind our way through narrow tunnels with only smartphone screen light to see by - I found it a fun challenge 😄 A very interesting tour with many insights into Naples history and what Greco-Roman buildings lie beneath the street and the underground tunnels acting as WWII shelters
