We’ll pick you up at 6AM in the morning from your hotel in Dubai, Sharjah, or Ras Al Khaimah. The shuttle transport will take you from the UAE and across the border to Khasab Harbor in Oman where our friendly team will meet you. En-route the drive, you can enjoy the panoramic coastal drive with spectacular views towards the Arabian Gulf. From the port, you can board the traditional Omani dhow for the full-day cruise into the spectacular Khor Shimm in the Musandam peninsula. You also get to see the coastal villages as we cruise along and there’s a very good possibility to sight the Playful Dolphins and many other exotic marine creatures. We will anchor at the famous Telegraph Island – it is a repeat station built in 1864 by the British to connect Bombay (India) with mainland Britain by an underwater and overland telegraphic cable passing via Basra in Iraq and Turkey. You will definitely enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the pristine and calm waters at Telegraph Island. Lunch and refreshments are served onboard. Snorkeling equipment and towels will be provided on the dhow.

The trip from Dubai to Oman - Musandam took four hours instead of the two hours stated. It would have been nice to be offered something to drink during the trip. When we finally arrived at the harbor, we boarded the dhow. There were two guides on board. We were really lucky and had the whole dhow to ourselves. The two snorkeling stops were great! We saw dolphins, lots of colorful fish, and huge sea urchins. The water is turquoise and clear. The guides even had a canoe with them, which we used to paddle around the island. There was no tourism there – it was completely deserted :-) Lunch was delicious. There was no shortage of drinks either – there was Pepsi, water, and various juices. We were also offered fruit. Our last stop before heading back was for fishing. The dhow trip lasted six hours in total. It was a fantastic experience that we would definitely recommend :-)

The duration was just right. The crew was fantastic. We saw dolphins swimming freely. It was a wonderful experience to see them swimming alongside the boat. Afterwards, we were able to snorkel and the crew gave us bananas, which we fed to the fish. Beautiful blue, colorful fish. It was such a great experience, the whole trip was just fantastic, the surroundings were amazing, I can only recommend this tour to everyone. You're guaranteed to see dolphins. We were very impressed by the tour.

Yasir gave me one of the best guided experiences I’ve had in Qatar. The West Coast is full of hidden gems, and he knew exactly where to go — from the film city to the stunning desert landscapes near Dukhan. He explained the history and significance of each place with such clarity and enthusiasm. I appreciated how relaxed and flexible the tour felt, while still covering so much. Highly recommend Yasir if you want to truly explore Qatar beyond the city!

The driver was professional, friendly and helpful, and we had a comfortable trip to Oman and back. The boat trip was fantastic. Beautiful scenery, snorkeling, delicious food, unlimited fruit and drinks. Plus, we saw lots of dolphins up close. The two guys working on the boat were also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this program to anyone.

He made the journey enjoyable with his stories and interesting facts. We had plenty of time to explore and take photos. A great guide and a memorable experience — thank you, Yasir!
