Ulaanbaatar: Semi-Gobi Desert Day Trip & Camel Ride

It was a great road trip for 3 of us. He can explain a lot of things and about local people practice. He doesn’t mind to stop the car for taking photo and help us to take photo too. He drives safely, made a few stops for stretching and to the toilet. Along the way was breathtaking view of the nature, hill, mountains, horses, sheep, cow are just cross the road.

Amazing sightseeing, camel riding, Ger visit. An absolute eye-opening and unforgettable experience!

Travelled with Angrag from Travel Mongolia and it was an amazing experience! He was an experienced careful driver, speaks good English, very patient, stopped whenever I want to take closer photos, and took good pictures for me too. Though drive was long, about 5h to get there (stuck in city traffic for long time) it was very worth it! Visited a normad Ger, family was friendly, home made lunch was good, and a 20min camel ride over vastness, totally wonderful feeling! Sand dune was smaller than I expected but still breathtaking. Angrag skilfully drove his Camry over rough dirt road to get us to Hustai National Park to see the wild Takhi horses. Though we saw the horses from afar, it was beauty to behold. Traffic back in city was really bad, we returned about 9.30pm. Long day but a must do! Thank you very much Angrag!
