The activity with guide, Dino, was fantastic from start to finish. Dino stopped on the two hour journey to the national park to show us sights along the way and stop for some Sri Lankan dessert. Dino was very friendly and knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and the wildlife at the safari. During the safari Dino was very informative and it was clear he is very passionate about animals. We saw an elephant just outside of the park and Dino explained to us that some people feed the elephants but this illegal as it makes them reliant on humans for food. We appreciated his genuine care for the animals. During the safari we were able to see a lot of elephants including some baby elephants, a crocodile, lots of monkeys, and birds. The time for the safari was perfect. On the way back Dino stopped, overlooking a lotus field and surprised us with local tea served in cups made out of coconut made by his mum which he allowed us to keep as a souvenir. Overall a great experience and would recommend!
