Great experience. It was our first safari experience with elephants so up close in their natural habitat. We saw peacocks, birds, and other small animals too. Our guide was great. He picked us up from our hotel and made a few stops on the way so we could try a variety of Sri Lankan desserts and snacks.

Our guide, Dinuka, was superb! He did everything to make sure my mom and I were taken care of, entertained and getting a good value for our tickets. He got us local fruits and snacks on the way, told us a bunch of interesting facts on the way to and from the park, and was an expert in identifying all the amazing animals we saw. We even got to feed bananas to an elephant outside the park! 10/10

I chose this program because I saw in the advertisement, that there are hundreds of elephants in this national parc. Unfortunately the weather was too rainy, lets say stormy on that day and because of this reason I could not see so many elephants. This program was scheduled in the afternoon and how I' ve just mentioned before, it was raining. But in the morning was sunny, so why I was disappointed, that why the agency did not organize this trip in the morning, instead of the afternoon. I know, you can never count with the weather, but if they check the weather forecast before, they could have seen that in the morning was sunny and in the afternoon was between 80 to 100 % chance to rain ... I was the only person on this tour, and I was available in the morning too, so I don't understand why the agency did not recommend to me this tour in the morning.
