Udaipur, once called the most romantic spot in all of India, is the city of Lakes. This tour covers the most important sites of the city, and ends with a serene sunset at Lake Pichola. Several locations were made famous in the the James Bond movie, Octopussy, filmed here in 1982.  Start your tour at Sajjangarh or the Monsoon Palace, an old dilapidated hunting lodge, perched atop a hillside. It offers fantastic views of the countryside, the Aravalli hills, and Fatehsagar Lake, the next stop on this tour. Step into the Maharaja’s lifestyle at Udaipur City Palace (Rajasthan’s largest palace). Some of these buildings date back 400 years. City Palace Museum has opulently decorated rooms, filled with artifacts and miniatures. Spend approximately two hours here, before heading to the Jagdish temple. Built in 1651, this serene marble temple with stone carvings is dedicated to an avatar of Lord Vishnu. Stop for lunch at a restaurant of your choice, or ask your guide for recommendations (lunch at own expense). Take a relaxing stroll around the lotus pools and fountains at Saheliyon ki Bari. As the day comes to an end, watch the sunset from Lake Pichola. The evening light makes for perfect photo opportunities. You can also choose an optional boat ride for a pleasant end to your full day tour. At the end of the activity, your driver will drop you back to either your hotel, the airport, or railway station in Udaipur.

Discover the historical highlights of Jodhpur on a guided tour with a local. Gain insights as you take in Kunj Bihari Temple, Ghanta Ghar, Mehrangarh Fort, and more. After pickup from your hotel, head to Kunj Bihari Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna and belonging to the Rama Nandi Vaishnava Hindu sect. The shrine was beautifully built using Makrana stone and Chhitar sandstone by Maharaja Vijay Singh in 1847 AD in memory of his son, Sher Singh, who died young. Next, stop at Toorji Ka Jhalra (Toorji’s Step Well), built in the 1740s by Maharaja Abhaya Singh’s Queen. Marvel at over 200 feet of hand-carved treasures that were submerged for nearly a century, before being recently restored. Spot intricate carvings of dancing elephants, medieval lions, and cows. Then, head to Mehrangarh Fort, one of Jodhpur's main attractions, including the Sheesh Mahal mirror palace, the Phool Mahal flower palace, and the Moti Mahal pearl palace, showcasing the rich history and cultural heritage of Jodphur. Explore the fort with your guide for 2 hours. Next, visit Pachetia Hill for the best viewpoint of Old City and Blue City, especially during sunrise and sunset. During your tour, pass the Clock Tower Market for a feel of the traditions of Jodphur. Be taken back to your hotel at the end of the tour having gained a good overview of the city.

Your Shared cooking experience will begin with a welcome meet and greet, which will include a refreshing drink. Once introduced, you will begin participating by preparing your vegetarian meal which will include rice, paneer cottage cheese, types of chapati, seasonal vegetarian curry, and milk pudding. You will later enjoy your meal whilst discussing insider tips and tricks of Indian food whilst also discussing various cultural topics. You will later also have the chance to enroll yourself in a Heena Mehendi class, in which you can wear Indian jewelery and dresses. After being picked up from either your centrally located hotel in Udaipur or the railway or bus station in the morning, you will depart for Jodhpur. First, you will visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will learn the history of the fort while enjoying its mesmerizing views. Afterwards you will go to the Jain Temple in Ranakpur. It is believed that the temple was built in the 15th century under the direction of Seth Dharna Shah, who was a follower of Jainism and a businessman by profession. He constructed the temple with the help of Rana Kumbha, the king of Mewar whose condition for help was that the temple be named after him. There are four entrances to reach the main chamber where the idol of Adinath is placed. There are also five pillars in the temple and each holds idols of various Tirthankaras. The biggest pillar that stands in the center holds an idol of Adinath. When the tour concludes, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Jodhpur, where your tour will conclude. Note. Choose from multiple departure times (advise at booking time) to suit your schedule. On the way to Udaipur, stop at the Jain Temple (own expense) in Ranakpur and marvel at its beauty. Learn about the history of this 15th-century temple and unique architecture, including numerous pillars. See the large colony of monkeys that inhabit the temple and surrounding area. After some exploring, head to Kumbhalgarh Fort (own expense), a UNESCO World Heritage site. Learn the history of the fort and enjoy its great view. After The Fort Drop-off will be at your hotel in Udaipur following your tour.

Your guide will meet you at your tour meeting point, from where you will be taken to your first attraction of Aravali Vatika. There you will explore its three-layer landscaped garden, which contains a small artificial lake. Following that you will advance towards Pearl Hill, which overlooks the Fateh Sagar Lake and is the memorial of the Rajput hero Maharana Pratap. Visit the famous Jagdish Temple, a large Hindu temple in the middle of Udaipur in Rajasthan, just outside the royal palace.
