Our guide, Harry, was fantastic and we love ved cycling through the rice fields in the early morning. We learned a lot about growing and harvesting rice from Harry and also visited a local home. The only difficulty were the instructions- they told us to be at the meeting with lace at 655 am (it was supposed to say 755 am). Also, the address provided is incomplete and our driver had trouble locating the meeting place. It is quite a ways outside of Ubud centre - approx 45 minutes without much traffic.

We had a great time with our guide Harry! It was so much fun to ride through the rice fields and very quiet too. Not easy to find the meeting point but we still made it and we’re glad!

Our guide Harry was AWESOME. He definitely made the tour memorable for our family. Very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and just a pleasant person to be around. We were able to meet with a local artist at his family compound, and we even met Harry’s mother and other people from his village while we were touring one of the rice fields as it was being harvested. I HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see and meet authentic Balinese people and culture.
