Along your hike in the classic Tuscan countryside, you might seek out this peaceful Romanesque abbey—hear Gregorian chanting echoing its chambers.
One of the most significant architectural multiplexes in the world - here you'll find Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Bapistry, the Tower of Pisa and the Camposanto Monumentale.
An icon of Italy, the Leaning Tower of Pisa got its infamous tilt during construction, as the ground was a bit softer on one side than the other.
The Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore is the main church of Florence, complete with a gigantic Gothic dome that remains the largest brick dome ever made.

Tuscany is not a region to visit for the weekend. Plan to spend 1-3 days in Florence, Siena and Pisa each, then drive to the coast and take a ferry to one of the islands for the beaches. After 10 days in Tuscany, you’ll really be feeling la dolce vita.
Wear layers, as the sun is hot during the day and it can get quite cool in the evenings. You should be comfortable and casual; this is the countryside after all. Pack light—one formal dress or shirt is enough.
Only renting a car will give you the full ability to explore the natural beauty and historic quality of the region, from vineyards to palaces. Be sure to request an automatic if you’re used to driving it, as most Italians drive stick shift. Of course, bike tours through Tuscany are a lovely alternative.
One of the best full day tours I have been on. A long day but worth it n value money for what is on offer. A guide throughout the day. First stop in Siena with a local guide to give a tour of the city including inside the main dumno. Then a tour of a Chanti farm the had vineyard, cattle n a beautiful outside restaurant. We had lunch of pasta bolognise, cheese n ham along with 4 different local produce wine. You had a panoramic view of the next destination of San Gimignano where we free time for about hour or so. The final destination was Pisa. It great day n highly recommended. Special mention to the guide friendly Elisa who gave a us insight to each place we visited.
This tour was one of the best events we experienced in 2020 properly. We been in Lucca in October and browsed through the options of guided tours. Instead of a usual walking tour, we decided to go with this special version as we are both music fans. It was a perfect mix of classical & modern musical explanations combined with a lot of insights into the city and its history. We will come again the next time we are around.
Buona vacanza a tutti.
This class was amazing! Francesco is an amazing chef. He is multilingual and very good at explaining what to do - no matter if the student is experienced or inexperienced, adult or child. The different dishes including the desert turned out delicious and we had a lot of fun! Highly recommended!
