This tour is a very nice intro into the royal life of Savoy dynasty. We had the same guide as for our other tour in Torino - Viviana - and once again she made it a great experience, showing the opulence of the palace and sharing many interesting stories about the royal family, their daily life and historical accomplishments, the paintings and other beautiful objects. Continue to the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, a stunning Baroque-Style chapel built to house the Shroud. Unfortunately, the Shroud was destroyed in a fire in 1997. Nevertheless, the building is still worth a visit to admire its interior and rich history.
